A sister is a friend like no one else - she has known you all your life and can read your every mood. A sister is there for you through the joys and hardships of life, and you can always count on her to be there when you need her.
My younger sister and I fought and squabbled all the time when we were kids, just like any other siblings. But as we grew older and became adults, we developed a wonderful relationship. We know everything about each other, and we have shared a whole life together; no matter what happens, we are always there for each other.
Recently, my sister was going through a difficult time, where it seemed like everything around her was falling apart. We spent most of every day talking, and I was glad I could be there to support her. I gave her this poem here one day - it really made her feel better to know that she had someone who cared so much and was on her side.
