If you need to be inspired,
Just look here to me,
For telling you that you'll succeed,
Is easy as can be!
I always have such faith in you,
I never doubt at all,
That you are ready and prepared,
To answer any call.
So let me be your cheerleader,
I'll never let you down,
You will always have support,
When your friend is in town!

No matter how confident and capable you are, there are times when you need some encouragement. Your friends are your own personal cheering squad; they show their support for you during good times and bad. I had the chance to cheer on my stepsons when they were in high school and needed to know that someone believed in them.
Kevin and Kenon are twins, and they are very outgoing boys. However, when we moved to a new town and they had to start high school in a place where they did not know anyone, they were pretty nervous and scared.
We had a lot of talks, and they trusted me and knew they could talk to me about anything they needed. But they still had some anxious times, whether they were playing sports or facing final exams. I made it a point to leave them notes and poems like this one before a major event.
The good news is that they both made it through high school with fantastic grades, plenty of good memories, and some terrific life-long friends. If you know someone who needs a little encouragement, don't hesitate to let them know that you believe in them. Friendship and inspirational poems are a great way to get the message across.
