A true friend is someone who loves you in spite of your flaws; you know that your friendship is real when someone can overlook the imperfections and appreciate the good things about you. And when you are really good friends, you can make fun of each other's little quirks in good humor.
My friend Andy and I are just like this - we are always joking around and giving each other a hard time, ribbing each other and poking fun. And yet, underneath all of the banter, we know we can count on each other for anything.
