Change

When I think of losing you,
I cannot help but feel so blue,
You're the best friend I've ever had,
And just your laughter makes me glad.

When I think of a goodbye,
It makes me want to sit and cry,
You mean so very much to me,
And we make a great team, you see.

And so I hope we never change,
Or grow apart or become strange,
For I do love our friendship so,
And I just hope it grows and grows!

Have you ever had a friend that is so close that it feels like they are a part of you? Not all of us are fortunate enough to have such a good friend, and if you do, you should treasure your friendship like the most precious gift.

My younger sister has a friend who was her college roommate; they have always shared everything, from their feelings to special times to their clothes. After they graduated, they even moved to the same town, because they couldn't imagine living far apart.

One day, they had a terrible fight about something - my sister doesn't even remember what it was about, though. Afterward, she was inconsolable, because she couldn't imagine life without her best friend. But the next day, she got a surprise - a beautiful bouquet with a poem like the one printed here.

She was on the phone with her friend right away, and of course they made up. The point of the story is that we should never take friendship for granted, and it is something that we should celebrate every day. Let your closest friends know that you cherish your relationship and always be part of their lives - send a losing best friend poem today and make sure they know how much you care.

I Want To Hold You Tight

When you’re there I'm strong,
You made things right when I'm wrong.
You made me laugh when I'm sad,
As well as make me smile when I'm mad.

You’re not there when I needed you most,
In the desert I was lost.
I want to cry all night,
I want to hold you tight.

Tell me what’s wrong,
Then I’ll do it right.
I’ll make a song,
For you I’ll never fight.

Just come back to me,
But if you don't want,
Then I’ll sent you free,
Now that you’re gone from me.
