Love is like a river,
When it carries you away,

My brother is the perfect example of this - he has always been something of a ladies' man, and we were sure he would never settle down. He was enjoying the bachelor life too much; he could come and go as he pleased, dating all sorts of women, but never committing to one.
Then one day he met Melissa, and everything changed. Something about her made him look at life differently, but he had never felt this way before. He wanted to tell her how much he loved her, but he really did not know what to say. I found a poem like this on line and showed it to him, and the next day, he took a copy and had it printed and framed.
He gave the poem to Melissa, and she literally fell into his arms - she was completely in love with him, but until that day, she was never sure that he felt the same. Now they are happily married, and she always tells the story of the day he declared his love to her.
