This poem reminds me of one of the most romantic stories I have ever heard. One of my college roommates had a male friend whom she had been close to since the day they met in psychology class. They spent a lot of time together, whether they were studying, meeting for coffee, or hitting the bars on a Friday night.
My roommate had just broken up with her boyfriend when they first met, and she had sworn off of men, but she really seemed to blossom in his company. I don't think she knew how much she really cared about him, but we could all see that they were destined to be together.
Finally, after they had been friends for over a year, he decided to surprise her with a special dinner at his apartment. It turns out that he had been in love with her for months, but he was too shy to tell her how he felt. After dinner, he handed her a card; when she opened it, she found this poem inside.
She started to cry and fell into his arms, telling him over and over again that she loved him, too. Needless to say, they are now happily married, and they are expecting their first baby this spring. All it took for them to find romantic bliss was a special love friendship poem.
