Making friends online used to be a joke, but now it is completely accepted; online friendship poems express the importance of the relationships we form through social media. Celebrate all of your friendships with poems like this one.
Even though we met online,
Our friendship is so true,
I always tell my "real life" friends,
The awesome things you do.
It's so much fun to chat with you,
I'm glad you are my friend,
It's always such a bummer
When our chatting sessions end.
Thanks for being who you are,
I know you're far away,
But I look forward to our time,
To chat online each day!

Our friends, no matter where we find them, are the people who make life worth living. Whether your friends live next door or halfway around the world, they can mean so much to us. Don't let a day go by without letting your closest friends know how you really feel.
When I was going through my divorce, I felt like the world was falling apart, and nothing would ever be the same. My husband and partner was gone, and we had to sell our house. It even seemed like I was losing all of my friends, because our relationships were as couples. But fortunately, I had met some good friends online who had nothing to do with the marriage and breakup.
More and more, I came to rely on these friendships, because they truly cared about only me, and not my status as a wife and mother. When I was able to deal with things a little better, I wanted to find a way to let my online friends know how much I appreciated them.
I found this poem online and decided to forward it to all of them; they were so happy to hear that I felt the same for them as they felt for me. We chat every day, and our friendships keep growing stronger; I don't know what I would do without them. I whole-heartedly recommend online friendship poems for anyone who has a long-distance relationship that means the world to them.
