In a world where most people are only thinking of themselves and do not have your best interests at heart, a friend who really cares is a true blessing. You can show your friends how much you appreciate them with a special gift of poetry.
I have a friend who is pretty naïve and vulnerable, and she believes nearly everything that people tell her. She is very beautiful and has a good heart, and unfortunately, a lot of people take advantage of her. Although I try to watch out for her, she still gets taken in by people who do not really care about her.
Of course, it is heartbreaking for someone so trusting when they realize that they have been fooled, and we have had many conversations about this fact. One day, while I was surfing the web, I found this poem, and it reminded me of her. So I printed it out and mailed it to her to let her know that she is not alone, and that I will always be there for her.
