Sad friendship poems can be the perfect way to make up after a fight. We have the poems that express just what you want to say to the friends who mean the most to you.
Our Fight
My friend, I hate to fight with you
I hate to think our friendship's through
You mean so very much to me
Although I fought so stubbornly.
I hope that you can understand,
Our fight was nothing that I planned,
And now I want to call a truce
I feel just like a silly goose.
So let's not fight a moment more
Let's just make up (fighting's a bore!),
You're so important to me, dear,
I just wanted to make that clear!

One of the best parts about having a close friend who really cares is the fact that even when you disagree, your friendship can remain strong. When you are close to someone, they love you no matter what, even when you are not at your best. It's important to let them know that you appreciate how they are always there for them, and that your friendship means everything.
Take this poem for example: this reminds me of something that happened a few years ago. I was dating this guy that my best friend had taken a dislike to, and they could not even stand to be in the same room. I felt like a referee every time we got together, and finally, my friend refused to spend any more time with him.
We had an awful fight, and shouted that we would never speak to each other again. I felt so awful for days, and I even considered leaving my boyfriend so that we could be friends again. It was such a surprise when I found a poem like this one in my mailbox; it turned out that she was just as unhappy as I was that our friendship was in danger, and she vowed that she would make a better effort to get along with my boyfriend.
I am so grateful that we made up; we are better friends than ever, and in the end, I decided my boyfriend just wasn't the guy for me. Sad friendship poems like this one can let them know how you feel and reassure them that their friendship means everything to you.
