When you meet a new friend, it can make you feel like a million dollars. Close friends really make life worth living. Don't let a day go by without telling your best friends how much they mean to you with friendship poetry.
When the house next door went up for sale, I was depressed about losing a good neighbor and friend. As I helped her to pack, I was close to tears, thinking about the friend that I was losing. Fortunately, we have remained close, even across the miles.
The best part was that my new neighbor turned out to be a great friend, as well. We hit it off as soon as we met, and we have spent hours of every day together ever since. Finding a new friend means so much to me, and I could never take this for granted.
I wrote this poem for her and taped it to her front door a couple of days ago. I know it really made her smile, and she is as happy as I am that we turned out to be such good friends. You can find great poems for your friends on this short poems rhymes friendship website, as well.
