There is nothing in life as important and precious as a true friend who really understands you and would do anything for you. A true friend is always on your side and will be there for whatever you need. When my best friend was getting married, she asked me to be her maid of honor. Of course, I was thrilled that she asked me, and I was so happy for her. There is nothing as exciting as a wedding, and I was honored to be there for her and help her with everything she needed to prepare for that special day.
As the day of her wedding shower approached, an even which I was hosting, I asked all of the guests to contribute a special quote or poem celebrating our friend who was setting off on this new phase of life. During the shower, we presented her with this special gift; one of the poems that had been added to the card we gave her was this one here.
Of course, we were all in tears, especially our beautiful bride-to-be. She and her husband have been happily married for almost ten years now, and she still treasures that special gift of poetry that told her how much we all care for her.
